O’SULLIVAN (Cork): On October 15, 2017, peacefully at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, in the presence of his family, JOHN A. (Retired Ships Master and Pilot), Glasheen, beloved husband of Ronnie McCarthy, dear brother of Betty and Derry, cousin of Dolores and loving father of Jennifer, Gavan, Gary, Ben and Amy. Sadly missed by his wife, family, sons and daughters-in-law Kevin, Veena, Kirsten, Laura and Brian, grandchildren Belle, Theo, Rioghan, Eshan, Aisling, Juliette, Isobel, Brianna, Joe, Oliver, Lily, Max, Eliza, Oscar, Archie and Romy, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Lying in repose at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. Removal at 6.30pm on (Tuesday 17th Oct 2017 ) evening to St. Joseph’s S.M.A. Church, Wilton. Requiem Mass at 11am on (Wednesday 18th October 2017) . Funeral afterwards to St. James’ Cemetery, Chetwynd. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Marymount Hospice. House private. “Steady as she goes”.
